Moe's Southwest Grill Plans to Open Gainesville Location in June

Bertucci’s won't seem so isolated anymore at The Shops at Stonewall in Gainesville.

In addition to the announcement that Jersey Mike's Subs will open late summer next to the Italian restaurant, Moe’s Southwest Grill will join them as well.

The restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open in June 2014.

Moe's Southwest Grill positions itself as a "fun and engaging fast-casual restaurant franchise" specializing in made-to-order southwest style food.

"Moe’s differentiates itself from competitors from the moment you walk through the door when customers are greeted with an enthusiastic 'Welcome to Moe’s!'" company representative Michael Daley said. "We offer customizable meals that are fresh and made-to-order with a choice of more than 20 fresh, flavorful ingredients."

The Gainesville location is owned by by Guac & Roll, LLC consisting of three franchise partners, Frank Maresca, Brad Chasteen and Steve Taylor. The three signed an agreement to open 25 stores in the Washington, D.C. area.

"Gainesville, Virginia is part of our strategic approach to bring Moe’s Southwest Grill to a new designated marketing area in which we hope our fast-casual, fun and family friendly restaurant will thrive," Daley said.

Currently there are two Moe's Restaurants in Northern Virginia, both owned by Maresca.
