Orange Leaf frozen yogurt, in Braemar Village Plaza in Bristow, is giving away a year of free frozen yogurt to one very lucky child who finds the Orange Leaf Ticket.
Orange Leaf Bristow Owner/Operator Rufus Manning loved the movie “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” as a child and wanted to bring a similar contest to his store.
Manning said he hopes to recreate some of the excitement Charlie, Veruca Salt, Mike Teavee and the other children felt when they found the ticket in their favorite treat.
He is also hoping to build excitement around the contest when his customers check under their waffle cone, brownie or cookie bottoms for that orange ticket. And to make the contest even more exciting, he will not be hiding only one ticket in his fro-yo bases, but 10 Orange Leaf Tickets.
Starting on Mar. 28 and throughout the month of April, anyone under the age of 18 who finds an Orange Leaf Ticket wins entrance to his “Behind the Scenes” tour of Orange Leaf’s Bristow location.
Manning plans on creating “a party-like atmosphere” during the tour with free Orange Leaf Fro-Yo, Vocelli’s pizza, time in Bruno’s Bounce House castle, entertainment and more! Manning hinted he may even dress as the infamous candy-maker himself!
Parents need not worry, their children will not disappear and will be returned from Orange Leaf safely with any bad behaviors they may have had coming into the tour; However, at the tour, one lucky child will be randomly selected to win a year of free Orange Leaf fro-yo.
The Find the Orange Leaf Ticket contest coincides with Orange Leaf Bristow’s one-year anniversary on March 31. Manning thanks the community for supporting his business and embracing Orange Leaf into the community. He believes the contest is a fun way to celebrate Orange Leaf’s success.
He is hoping that with the snow melting, people will be excited to visit Orange Leaf for their favorite cool treat and possibly win free yogurt. Additionally, Orange Leaf Bristow is pleased to announce that they will now be serving fro-yo smoothies.
Entering the Find Orange Leaf Ticket contest is easy. Customers simply need to choose a brownie bottom, cookie bottom or waffle bowl for purchase with their fro-yo. Then they should check the bottom of their cup to see if they have found the Orange Leaf Ticket.
Customers who find a ticket should bring it to the counter to be recorded among the winners. The contest is really for children, but adults, accompanied by children, can register the ticket in a child’s name.
Manning said he knew he wanted to hold this contest almost as soon as he opened the doors to his store a year ago. If the Orange Leaf Ticket contest is successful in Bristow, the Orange Leaf Corporation agreed to expand Manning’s idea into other stores and regions.
