Dear Shoppers,
As our great BBQ vendor, Mike of Blue Dog BBQ, put it this morning, we are putting the farm back in farmers' market at least until we have signed an agreement to return to the middle of Bristow. For at least this Sunday and for as long as we need to get to the table to sign on the dotted line for our new location, we have been welcomed to the Nokesville area to the lot where the old Nokesville market was held.
We will be open at our regular hours: 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the corner of Nokesville Road (Route. 28) and Fitzwater Drive. The nearest GPS address is Carini's Pizza at 13065 Fitzwater Drive, Nokesville, Va 20181 We will also have a map and directions up on our website very soon.
It is a little bit farther down the road, but we ask you to spread your wings and come see the country that supports several of your local farmers who participate in this market; and of course Mike And Debby of Blue Dog BBQ also live on a farm nearby.
We have many people to thank for the support we have received these past two weeks - both to help us in the short term to find a location and to offer us numerous options for the long term. Your County Supervisor, Wally Covington, led the way with referrals and suggestions (more on that later.)
For now we will be open and expect to have all of your favorites with us this week and from now on.
