Balls Ford Road Traffic Stop Turns into Child Neglect Charge

police-sirensPrince William County Police charged Pablo Rodriguez-Rodriguez 25, of Henrico with charged with child neglect, possession of an open container while operating a motor vehicle and no operator’s license following an early morning June 22 traffic stop in the area of Prince William Parkway and Balls Ford Road in Manassas.

"Through investigation, it was determined that the driver, later identified as the accused, was under the influence of alcohol," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok said.  "A family member of the accused, a 14 year old juvenile of Henrico, was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident."

Police arrested the accused without further incident and the juvenile was released to the custody of a family member.

Rodriguez-Rodriguez's court date is Aug. 3 and he is being held on a $5000.00 secured bond.
