Original Story:

A Victory Lakes resident is looking for her beagle that went missing last night. Prince William Police suspect the dog may be injured.

Rose, the 1-year old female beagle, may have been accidently let out of the yard of her Victory Lakes home at 12672 Crabtree Falls Dr. Once missing, owner Karen Hammang started looking for her and called the police to report her missing.

Prince William Police called Hammang this morning, saying that they received a dispatch that a dog had been hit by a car over on Sudley Manor Drive in Bristow.

“I was phoned by the police this morning. They had gotten a dispatch that there was a dog that had been hit by a car. They investigated and saw a beagle bleeding from her nose. There was the question of whether her leg was injured,” Hammang said.

Police suspected the dog to have been Rose, but were unable to secure the canine that swiftly ran away.

Now, the Hammangs are still looking for their dog, which they suspect is still within the Bristow area. They have contacted the Prince William Emergency Vet, Hope Center, Prince William Animal Control and Caring Hands Animal Hospital at Braemar Village Plaza. She has also advised the Victory Lakes community via their Facebook page. best spearfishing mask

Hammang is asking that if anyone has any information, they call or text her at 703-307-9573.

The dog is wearing her collar and is micro-chipped.
