Bristow Woman Assaults Police Officer

Prince William County Police arrested Erin Marie Uhler, 38, of Bristow June 4 for allegedly assaulting a police officer following a disorderly call.

According to police Uhler, Uhler exhibited signs of intoxication and she was arrested without incident.

"While being placed in a police cruiser, the accused resisted and kicked one of the officers in the upper body," police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said. "The accused was quickly secured without further incident."

The officer was not injured during the incident.

Police charged the suspect with assault & battery on a LEO, obstruction of justice and public intoxication.

Uhler's court date is pending and she is held on a $1,000 secured bond.
