Update:

Family members tell us that Lyon Foster of Manassas was found and taken to the hospital. He's in rough shape now but should recover.

Thanks for everyone's help in finding Mr. Foster!

Original Story:

Family members are asking for help in finding a Manassas man who went missing Monday morning.

Lyon Foster, III, 54, is a 5-foot tall white male with brown eyes and brown/gray hair. He left his home at 9222 Hood Rd. in the Georgetown South area of Manassas Monday at 9 a.m. and has not been seen since. The family believes he may have been confused and walked off.

Foster was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans, a dark blue baseball cap and white shoes, and relatives say he may be carrying a cane.

Foster, nicknamed “Stump,” may be suffering from an episode of short-term memory loss. He also is legally blind and has difficulty walking.

Relatives ask that if anyone sees Foster, he or she call the Manassas Police at 703-257-8000.
