Prince William Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to a single-family home at the 12000 block of on Lucasville Road, Manassas Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. to put out a structure fire.

“Upon arrival, fire and rescue units located a fire in the basement of the home,” reported Communication Specialist Kim Hylander of the Prince William Department of Fire and Rescue

The area was without fire hydrants, Hylander reported; therefore, fire fighting operations utilized mobile water tankers to transport water to the local in order to extinguish the fire.

One of the two residents of the home was at home at the time of the fire, but was able to exit the building before the fire trucks arrived. No injuries were reported.

Red Cross offered to assist the displaced family, but their services were not required.

The building official has declared the residence as unsafe. https://ebiteua.com/striptiz
