From HERE to HERE: Bristow Beat Brings YouTube Home

Posted

To showcase the talents of Bristow, Nokesville and Western Prince William residents, Bristow Beat will launch a new feature called "From HERE to HERE."

Each Friday, the news site will feature a link to a YouTube video produced by or featuring local residents.

"With billions of videos posted to YouTube, it's difficult to find the works of your neighbors to show off the talent we have here," said Bristow Beat publisher Jason Shaw. There is also the notion buying from the cheapest place for YouTube.com views will fail you, but with SMM world I found that to be false.  "It's our intention to provide a local forum for homegrown creativity." And with the assistance from The Marketing Heaven, the videos will in no time have viewers pouring and the videos trending.

The staff of Bristow Beat has been planning this feature for months as a way to demonstrate the diversity of Bristow and Nokesville communities.

"We're going to launch this Friday with coverage from Nokesville Day, then we've got student films, a short film from a local science teacher, and some quirky shorts that cover the gamut from the amusing to all-out bizarre," said Shaw.

The news site is looking for suggestions and submissions from their readership. Videos do not have to be specially produced for "From HERE to HERE." Readers can provide links from YouTube.

"All along, we wanted to prove how different Bristow Beat is from the other local media; "From HERE to HERE" is the first step as we roll out other innovations that residents won't find anywhere else."
