Prince William County Police responded to the 7600 block of Great Dover Street in Gainesville March 8 to investigate an assault. According to the victim, a 21-year-old man of Gainesville, while at a party at the residence, he was knocked to the ground and assaulted by an unknown individual. "The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to his face," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "The victim was unable to provide a description of the assailant."
