After a couple of days of pleasant weather, the heat, humidity, rain and potential for thundershowers return to the area.
National Weather Service forecasters call for scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening, with temperatures in the upper 80s.
"Isolated severe thunderstorms damaging winds and large hail are possible this afternoon and this evening," they warned.
