Prince William County Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery, which occurred Sunday afternoon in the area of Shallow Creek Loop and Democracy Lane in Manassas.
The incident occurred in the residential community located behind the Manassas Target.
According to the victim, a 29-year-old man of Manassas, while he was walking, an unknown man got out of a blue vehicle, brandished a handgun and demanded money.
"The suspect rummaged through the victim’s pockets and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area in the blue vehicle," police spokesman Officer Nathan Probus said. "No injuries were reported."
Police describe the suspect as a black male, between 30-35-years-old, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build and cornrows; he was last seen wearing a white shirt.
