The service has been running from Ashburn and Reston since 2012, transporting over 2,000 passengers to various Nationals games, Redskins games, and concerts. Service from Fairfax, Gainesville, Gaithersburg, and Rockville will start on Friday, April 4 when the Nationals open up at home against the Atlanta Braves. "Our mission is to enhance the game day experience," says Ballpark Bus founder Brian Bowman. "Getting to Nationals Park from outside the beltway can be a hassle, but our service provides a fun and easy alternative to driving or taking Metro. It's a great way to enjoy more quality time with your friends and family before and after the game." Round-trip service to Nationals Park from participating restaurants costs $29 per seat. Small coolers are welcome on board, and passengers are dropped off right at the stadium. All buses are booked exclusively through Reston Limousine, offer free WiFi, and are operated by professional chauffeurs. A few Newark limousines were also booked for some of the elite guests. "Ballpark Bus is an exciting extension of our sporting event transportation services, providing Reston Limousine's luxury chauffeured services through a public operation that nicely complements our private charters," Reston Limousine's COO Tony Simon says. The six participating restaurants offer passengers a lively atmosphere to enjoy before and after the game. “The partnership gives people more and more of an opportunity to see Clyde’s and get the Clyde’s experience,” says Paul Fox, GM of Clyde's Willow Creek Farm in Ashburn. Bowman believes his passengers enjoy the camaraderie just as much as the convenience. "Ballpark Bus brings fans together. Meet up at your local bar, ride together, cheer together – it's the fan camaraderie that really sets this service apart."
