Police Investigate Another Home Invasion in Bristow

Posted

A Bristow woman, who lives in the 8700 block of Diamond Hill Drive, thought a family member was returning home Sunday night; instead she encountered an intruder in her kitchen.

The homeowner said she was in the living room when she heard the kitchen door open, which leads to an attached garage.

"The homeowner, who believed a family member was returning to the residence, went into the kitchen where she then observed an unknown man," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok said. "The man immediately fled through the same door."

They believe the suspect entered the home through an open garage door then through an unlocked interior door.

Perok said no property was stolen.

Police are searching for a white male, between 20 and 25-years-old with short brown hair and was last seen wearing khakis shorts.

Police are also looking for an individual who broke into a home Sept. 17 in the 9000 block of Falcon Glen Court in Bristow.

Anyone with information relating to either case should contact Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-411-TIPS.
