Prince William County Police responded to a complaint regarding a rock that was thrown through the back window of a moving car in the area of Moat Crossing and Braided Stream in Bristow Sunday night.
According to area residents, the car was traveling down Braided Stream when a “softball-sized” rock was thrown from a wooded area.
There is a report that the rock nearly hit a young child in the car.
