Prince William County Police responded to the Dunbarton community for the second time this week investigate a residential burglary.
The owner of a home in the 12800 block of Dunbarton Drive in Bristow reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9 p.m. June 30 and 8:30 a.m. July 1.
"The investigation revealed that entry was made into an attached garage after a garage door opener was retrieved from an unlocked vehicle parked in the homeowner’s driveway," police spokesman Jonathan Perok said. "A wallet containing money and other property was reported missing."
