Prince William County Police officers responded 2:30 a.m. July 9 to the area of Spindle Foot Court and Hoppers Lane in Bristow for reports of shots fired.
According to a caller, multiple shots were heard fired in the vicinity.
"Officers arrived and located several shell casings in the roadway," police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. "No injuries or property damage were reported.'
Officers canvased the area and located no suspects.
