After investigating a burglary attempt in Nokesville on Sunday, Prince William County Police responded to another in Gainesville Wednesday.
Police report that unknown individual(s) attempted to break into a residence at the 14800 block of Lee Highway in Gainesville.
According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 31.
“Unknown person(s)through a rear window which was partially open," said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok." No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.”
