Police Search for Suspects in Strong Armed Robbery

policedoor700pxPrince William County Police are looking for two men who robbed a 24-year-old man of Manassas early Thursday morning in the area of Ashton Avenue and Coverstone Drive.

According to the victim, while walking in the area, he was approached by two unknown men, who punched him in the head, knocking him to the ground.

“At some point, the victim was cut in the hand by an unknown sharp object,” police spokesman Officer Nathan Probus said.  “The suspects then went through the victim’s pockets removing a wallet before fleeing on foot.”

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Following a search of the surrounding area, police did not locate the suspects, nor could the victim provide any description.
