Police Seek Answers in Deadly Wellington Road Motorcycle Crash

Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in the area of Wellington Road and Livingston Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in the area of Wellington Road and Livingston Road Feb. 29.

Prince William County Police are asking residents for any information regarding a fatal motorcycle accident, which occurred in area of Wellington Road and Livingston Road Feb. 29.

According to investigators, the operator of a 2003 Harley Davidson Springer Softail motorcycle, for unknown reasons, lost control and struck a 2005 Ford F150 pickup truck traveling westbound on Wellington Road.

Following the crash, the driver, Benjamin Spencer Conley, 42, of Manassas was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the F150 pickup truck, a 51-year-old man of Stafford, was not injured.

"Currently, it is unknown if speed and drug use were factors in the collision," police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said.  "The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash."
