The staff of Peet's Coffee & Tea in Braemar Village Plaza learned Sunday that Monday would be their last day.
According to an employee of the store, the decision to close came from their corporate headquarters.
The store has 15 employees, he said.
Caribou Coffee, which originally occupied the Braemar Village Plaza location, was closed and converted into a Peet's Coffee & Tea this summer.
At the time Caribou Coffee closed, corporate owners the Benckiser Group announced Caribou’s high-performing stores would re-open as Peet’s Coffee and Tea and low-performing stores would be closed.
The Bristow store, located at 12713 Braemar Village Plaza, will hold regular business hours on Monday; 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
