Train Hits Truck on U.S. 29, Road Closed for Nearly Five Hours

Updated: Authorities urged drivers to avoid U.S. 29 in Gainesville again this evening, due to a second collision between a train and a truck near U.S.  55 after 6:30 p.m.

Prince William County police reported that there were no deaths, or injuries, but the road remained closed for 4.5 hours.

This is the second accident between a truck and train in that location in just over a months.
