Prince William County Police responded to reports of two individuals stealing valuables from vehicles in the 8800 block of Flatbush Court in Manassas approximately 4 a.m. Monday morning.
Police apprehended one suspect in Bristow.
"When units responded, they saw the subjects fleeing the area," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok said. "A K-9 responded and located one of the suspects in the area of Sudley Manor Drive and University Blvd."
The search for the second individual took police to Gainesville.
Police enlisted the aid of a helicopter from Fairfax, who assisted in locating the second suspect on Spyglass Hill Loop.
Both individuals are in custody.
