Prince William County Police responded to two residential burglaries in Gainesville on Oct. 22.
Police report that unknown individual(s) broke into a residence under construction at the 7000 block of Trek Way in Gainesville and stole a dishwasher valued at $400.00.
According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 221. No signs of forced entry into the residence were reported.
Police also report that that unknown individual(s) broke into a residence at the 14300 block of John Marshall Highway in Gainesville.
The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30 A.M. on October 19 and 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 22.
“Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window, which had been broken out; no items were reported missing,” said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.
