According to Shelly Wiltz, Corporate Recruiter for the Uncle Julio's Corporation, the Gainesville location is looking to hire 180 individuals to open the restaurant. These positions include hosts, servers, bartenders, bussers, dishwashers, line and prep cooks and managers.

The restaurant will officially open Sept. 14, 2015.

To recruit potential employees, they have set up a hiring suite at Atlas Walk, located between Bubbles and Gym Source, where the restaurant's general manager and new store opening team will accept applications and conduct interviews Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

Gainesville General Manager Brendan Rice, who started in the food service industry when he was 16-years-old, worked his way up through the ranks at Uncle Julio's with positions in Bethesda, Arlington, Reston and now Gainesville.

Uncle Julio's has seven restaurants in the Virginia/Maryland area. The chain, which currently has 21 locations, has three more scheduled to open this year and plans 5-6 per year thereafter.
