Prince William County Police have released images of the armed robbery suspect who is still at large and are asking the public's assistance in identifying him.

Police believe the individual was involved in two armed robberies Dec. 18: one at the Nokesville Deli on Fitzwater Drive around 7 p.m. and another at the Sunoco on Wellington Road in Manassas shortly after 9 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a white or grey hoodie, blue jeans and a black ski mask.

"We are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the suspect [in the released photos]," a police spokesperson said. "Please contact Prince William County Crime Solvers if you have any information related to these crimes."

Despite police clearing the scene, no arrest has been made.

"We no longer believe he is in the area and has not yet been apprehended," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Merriman said.

The case remains under investigation.

According to police, perimeter units have cleared from Wellington Road and Freedom Center Boulevard in Manassas and traffic has returned to normal.

The Prince William County Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect in the area of Wellington Road and Freedom Center Boulevard in Manassas.

Police believe the individual held-up a business in the 9000 block of Wellington Road and may be responsible for another robbery in Nokesville.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a white or grey hoodie, blue jeans and a black ski mask.

According to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Merriman, the suspect's description matches that of a robbery suspect from an earlier incident in the 13000 block of Fitzwater Drive in Nokesville.  He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

"Citizens in the area are asked to be alert to suspicious persons and increased police presence," said Merriman. "Anyone with possible information regarding these robberies are asked to contact the Prince William County Police Department at (703) 792-6500."
