The Virginia Department of Transportation announced there will be single-lane closures on eastbound I-66 at Route 15 will beginning 8 p.m Thursday.
"Temporary total stoppages of up to 30 minutes each are possible between midnight and 4 a.m.," a spokesperson said. "This will allow crews to more efficiently complete final paving on the I-66 widening project for VDOT."
VDOT crews will detour eastbound I-66 via the Route 15 ramps back to I-66 between 9:30 p.m. and 4 a.m.
