EMPTY SHELTER PROJECT: Female Mini-Pitty Seeks Family for Daily Tummy Rubs

Posted

For anyone who likes the look of a Pitbull but worries they are too big or not enough of a lapdog, Midnight is your girl.

Midnight is the newest dog available for adoption through the Empty Shelter Project. Midnight is a 3-year old female that looks very much like a miniature Pitbull. We think she is a Pit/Boston Terrier mix, and because she is small, we like to call her our little pocket pit or our itty-bitty-pitty.

Midnight has been looking for a home for a while now with us so we really want to spread the word about her!

This girl may be little, but she has a huge personality! She loves playing with her squeaky toys, but is also a huge cuddler and has no problem sprawling out on your lap. Midnight is very affectionate and knows no strangers. She especially likes getting tummy rubs from everyone.

Midnight is so adorable that this past October she won a costume contest dressed as a frog, and even made the paper! But for some reason she has still been overlooked. She is already potty trained and hasn't shown any destructive habits.

Midnight was turned into a high-kill shelter when she was pregnant; unfortunately due to space issues, the shelter did not allow her to continue her pregnancy then had her spayed. She's had a rough start, but hasn't let any of that bring her down! She is always so happy and you'll never have a dull moment with her around. She loves people and would thrive in a home with a family of her own!

Share her smiling face, and help Midnight find her home!

If you can see Midnight being the right pet for you, please contact the volunteers at the Empty Shelter Project (ESP) by phone: 571 288 2878 or 571 991 9642. email: adopt@espnova.org or find us on Facebook!

Besides Midnight, the ESP has a number of dogs and cats all needing to be adopted. They can help you find one right for you and your family.

The Empty Shelter Project is an all-volunteer foster-based animal rescue group in Prince William County dedicated to saving the lives of animals in danger of euthanasia in animal shelters across America. ESP also strives to help educate the public on issues regarding the pet overpopulation crisis to help prevent and decrease the amount of animals entering shelters annually.
