Police Respond to Shots Fired Along Bristow Road

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – officers responded to the 11800 block of Bristow Road in Bristow (20136) to investigate a "shots fired" call, Feb. 16 at 8:20 p.m.

The investigation revealed the caller observed an unknown man firing a weapon in a field adjacent to his property. The man was described as a black male with short crewcut-style hair, driving a blue sedan.

The man fled the area in his vehicle at high speed.

No injuries or property damage were reported. Multiple shell casings were found in the area where the man was reporting firing the weapon.
