Police Seek Two Men for Assault at Manassas Motel, One Wielding Axe

Prince William Police Officers responded to a report of an assault at the Days Inn at 7249 New Market Court in Manassas, Prince William, Thursday, Feb. 15 at 10:45 p.m.  

According to police, a 35-year-old man was in the hotel's parking lot, entering his vehicle, when he was approached by two male strangers. 

"Both men began assaulting the victim, and then one of them brandished an axe and struck the rear window of the victim’s vehicle," said Prince William Master Office Renee Carr. "Both suspects then fled on foot."

Minor injuries were reported. No additional injuries or property damage were reported.

Both suspects are described as Latino men between 16 and 27 years of age, approximately 5’8” and 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a blue bandana covering his face, a grey jacket and green pants. 

The second suspect was last seen wearing a black face mask and hood, a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes, and holding an axe.
