Youth For Tomorrow’s Country Fair & Auctions, a Bristow-area tradition, is back for its 38th year of family fun! Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 7, and join us for a fun-filled day! Judging by the number of activities booked, this could be Youth For Tomorrow's biggest and greatest to date!

Stop by the TOYOTA activation display which will feature several exciting Toyota concept cars along with new current models, games and giveaways!

The Military and First Responder Appreciation area celebrates our U.S. Armed Forces and features a U.S.  Army drone demonstration and a Flags of Valor activity workshop where kids can build their own wooden flags! The U.S. Marines will be present with their demanding Chin-Up Challenge, as well as the U.S. Air Force with the Air Force One display featuring pilots and historical artifacts. Military display vehicles and much more!

A special opening ceremony will begin just before noon, featuring a U.S. Army Drill Team and Color Guard and singing of the National Anthem.  Two-time Purple Heart recipient, Pasha Palanker will lead a team of paratroopers, who will descend and land at noon on the fairgrounds with a “special delivery” to YFT Founder & Chairman, Coach Joe Gibbs

The special delivery will kick off a spirited Live Auction featuring 36 exciting items, including tropical vacation getaways to Antigua and Turks and Caicos, a historic trip to Kitty Hawk, NC, Washington Commanders “Kick-Off Kid” Game Day Experience, a Golfer’s Dream experience playing on three championship courses, and more!

Simultaneously, the silent auction will be open for bidding featuring holiday and home décor, family fun experiences, jewelry, handbags, collectibles, and more “treasures”!

Kids can get “hands-on” in The Home Depot Kid’s Builder’s Workshop, and explore many fun projects and entertainment in The Merit School Children’s Activity Tent.  For those who are “techies” stop into The STEM Zone presented by NOVA SySTEMic - Northern Virginia Community College with activities in robotics, coding, lasers, 3D printing and more.

Live music will be performed by local favorite bands, One Hot Mess and the Cactus Jack Band.  Also, line dancing performances by local dance group LineDance4You and The Bull Run Cloggers.

Watch the thrilling performance by the Incredible Dialed Action FMX Motocross Stunt Show. Showtimes are 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

People love great food and they will savor great eats at the Country Fair!! Enjoy fresh hot pizza from Paisano’s, Tex-Mex from our friends at Chuy’s, crab cake sandwiches from Ford’s Fish Shack, BBQ from Savor the Flavor, hamburger, hot dogs and sausages from Ray’s Grille, topped it off with ice cream from Swirlies and Bundtlets from Nothing Bundt Cake, Wild Bill’s Soda, Uncle Dave’s Kettle Corn plus many other fair food favorites.
