UPDATE: NWS Cancels Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Wednesday

Updated: June 26, 7:15 p.m. The National Weather Service canceled the Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the evening. Original Story: The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the area until 10 p.m. Wednesday evening. "Clusters of thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon and evening," NWS said.  "Some of these storms will be capable of becoming severe." NWS warns that thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flash flooding.
