Democrats have swept the Virginia elections, winning all categories in Prince William County, including the Gainesville Supervisor seat.
George T. Stewart-D won the Gainesville Supervisor election with 12,579 votes. He received 50.47% of the overall votes against Republican Patrick R. Harders, who received 48.77% with 12,156 votes.
A Democrat has been elected to the Virginia General Assembly in all seats up for election.
Additionally, Democrats won all statewide elections, supporting the candidates who won in the Commonwealth.
