Community Collects Funds for Bristow Family Displaced by House Fire

Help Rebuild for the Griffins

Posted

On Sunday, June 11 Chris, Allison and Jackson's home was destroyed by a two-alarm fire caused by a nearby gas tank explosion.

They and the pets are all OK but are displaced with not much more than the clothes on their backs. The house looks to be a total loss.

Although they do have insurance, that takes time and there are immediate needs and items that the insurance won't completely cover.

If you know Allie and Chris, you know they'd go out of their way for anyone in need. Jackson lights up every room he enters and is taking this all in stride, but he is a seven-year-old without a home and his "stuff."

We are asking for those in the community who know and love the Griffins to contribute as they feel able. We are asking for financial support at this time until we are able to assess what physical items will be needed.

So far, friends and community members have helped by raising $34,880 through GoFundMe, on the way to the goal of $50,000.

Help the Griffins by visiting their GoFundMe Page to make a donation and/or share the information.
