Prince William Officers responded to a residence in the 7400 block of Bull Run Road in Manassas to investigate an active burglary, May 31 at 11:57 a.m.
The investigation revealed an unknown man forced entry into the home through a back window. The homeowner returned shortly after and confronted the suspect, while he was still inside his home. The suspect left the home through the damaged window and ran to a wooded area behind the residence.
A police K-9 and Fairfax police helicopter searched for the suspect who was not located. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.
