Bristow Man Arrested for Stabbing, Malicious Wounding

18-year-old is accused of stabbing a man in his home

Prince William Police Officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Hooe Road in Bristow, Jan. 26 at 8:16 p.m., to investigate an assault.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 49-year-old man, and an acquaintance, Thomas Smith of Bristow, were involved in an ongoing dispute that escalated.

During the encounter, Smith brandished a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times. The men eventually separated, and the police were contacted.

The victim was treated at an area hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the investigation, on Jan. 26, police arrested the accused, Thomas Lee Cornelius Smith, an 18-year-old male of 12211 Hooe Road in Bristow. Smith is charged with aggravated malicious wounding. His court date is pending. He is being held without bond.  (There's a photo)
