Prince William Chamber of Commerce Endorses Deshundra Jefferson, Jennifer Carroll Foy

PRINCE WILLIAM, VA – Following the 2023 Prince William County Chair Candidate Debate, the Prince William Chamber of Commerce’s Political Action Committee announces its endorsements for the Prince William County Chair and for the Virginia State Senate.

Candidate endorsements were determined as a result of interviews, analysis, stated positions on the issues, and each individual’s support of the region’s business community.

Following the Candidate Debate, hosted by the Prince William Chamber of Commerce at George Mason University’s Science and Technology Campus, the PAC endorses candidate Deshundra Jefferson-D.

Deshundra’s endorsement from the PAC is attributed to her support of schools and the regional business community. Although both candidates had noteworthy moments during the debate, Deshundra’s support of both business and education makes her the best poised to work alongside the Chamber.

The Chamber PAC additionally enthusiastically supports Jennifer Carroll Foy-D for Virginia State Senate District 33. As a delegate who supported giving small businesses access to capital and resources, maximizing job creation, and prioritizing legislative educational bills; Foy is a huge asset to local businesses and to our educational system. She has demonstrated the unique ability to work across the aisle on all issues.

The Prince William Chamber PAC was established in 2014 by members of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce. The PAC promotes and facilitates the accumulation of voluntary contributions from members of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce and others. Contributions are used primarily in support of issues and candidates for local and state offices who have taken positions consistent with the Chamber’s public policy positions regarding the private enterprise system.
