PWC Residents -

Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7th, the Board of County Supervisors was scheduled to vote on the Devlin Tech Park rezoning; however, this rezoning has been deferred indefinitely at Stanley Martin's request. As a result, the March 7th evening session of the BOCS meeting has been canceled. This is in no small part a result of all your hard work, time and effort! However, I want to caution you all to remain vigilant: this isn't over.

In all likelihood, the applicant is biding their time until it is politically expedient to pass this rezoning. My guess is it will return in either July (after the primary) or in November/December (after the election). At which time, the applicant may be more confident in obtaining the five votes necessary to approve the rezoning from candidates who have nothing to lose.

Therefore, it is imperative that you don't lose the momentum you've built the last several months and remain connected to the groups engaged in this matter (Say No to Devlin Tech ParkCoalition to Protect PWCHOA Roundtable). I will continue to work with them as well to get out important information. Please remain engaged as well!

Regards,

Jeanine
