Manassas City Police Seize Illegal Narcotics, Weapons, Money, Jewelry

Including 66,000 Fentanyl pills

Manassas City Police Department detectives conducted a search and seizure by order of warrant and coordinated arrest in the City of Manassas, Jan. 30. The investigation resulted in the arrest of multiple suspects for the possession and distribution of narcotics and the illegal possession of firearms. 

MCPD detectives were aided by the Prince William County Vice Narcotics Task Force, Prince William County Street Crimes Unit, and Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms (ATF).

Law enforcement personnel also conducted a search warrant at a residence in the City of Manassas that led to the seizure of additional illegal narcotics and firearms.

During the investigation $6,500 in U.S. currency, $40,000 in high-end jewelry, 66,000 Fentanyl pills, 2,300 grams of marijuana, 40 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms, 142 grams of cocaine, and 6 firearms were seized.

Police arrested four subjects who were found to have a substantial amount of illegal narcotics and firearms in their possession. The suspects arrested were charged with multiple criminal offenses, including:

  • several counts of distribution of schedule I/II narcotics,
  • possession of narcotics while in possession of a firearm,
  • felon in possession of a firearm,
  • possession of marijuana, and possession of a stolen firearm.

This is an ongoing criminal investigation.  Police are not providing any additional information at this time.
