Prince William Police Investigate Shooting Outside Manassas Hotel

A 34-year-old man was shot outside the Courtyard Marriott

Shooting Investigation – Prince William County Police Officers responded to the Courtyard Marriot located at 10701 Battleview Parkway in Manassas to investigate a shooting, Oct. 26 at 4:18 a.m. 

"Upon arriving at the hotel, officers observed a 34-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body," Master Officer Renee Carr said.

Officers provided immediate first aid until rescue personnel arrived and transported the man to an area hospital where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.

The investigation revealed the man and an acquaintance were in the parking lot of the hotel when shots were fired, and the victim was struck.

The acquaintance fled prior to police arriving at the scene.

Officers located shell casings in the parking lot.

No additional injuries or property damage were reported. At this time, the incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
