Police arrested an 85-year-old man from Gainesville, last week, for multiple sexual assaults of two minor girls that occurred between Jan. 2015 and Nov. 2022.
John Pasquale Demarco, 85, of 8816 Calbera Court in Gainesville, is accused of sexually assaulting two female relatives in his home. The girls were under 13 and 15 years-old age at the time of the abuse.
The victims reported the incidents in November 2022, prompting the police investigation. The investigation concluded with Demarco's arrest on July 19, 2023
Demarco was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of indecent liberties.
His court date is pending. His bond has been set at $5,000.
