Youth For Tomorrow’s 41st Annual Country Fair & Auctions will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 This year’s Fair is shaping up to be our biggest and most exciting event yet. We are honored that you and our community have voted YFT’s Country Fair as “The Best of Prince William” for the past three consecutive years!
The Country Fair offers fun for children of ALL ages with over 75 attractions including, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more. Kids can get “hands-on” in The Home Depot Kid’s Builder’s Workshop, and explore many fun projects and entertainment in The LLE Education Group Children’s Activity Tent.
You’ll be amazed by the acrobatic tricks and high-jumping competitions from Dock Dogs. The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show returns this year!! See log rolling competitions, axe chopping, and chainsaw art. Pretty Birds of Paradise will offer an interactive and educational experience in their “birdhouse”!
This year, we’ve expanded the Fair, adding a new and exciting themed area: The Trades and Home Expo. This area is geared toward both children and adults, promoting educational and employment opportunities in the construction and automotive trades, sparking interest for rewarding careers.
Children and adults will ride and enjoy the shows and activities FREE with their $15 admission ticket. Don’t miss our “early-bird” special discount tickets! Admission tickets purchased online through October 2nd are just $12.50. A special “Family Four Pack” is available for $45. Tickets purchased on October 3rd will be $15 per person. Children under three are FREE.
All proceeds support Youth For Tomorrow’s mission of providing hope and healing for children and families in crisis.
The Food Court will offer great eats where folks can enjoy fresh hot pizza from Paisano’s, Southwestern fare and more from our friends at Everyone Eats, juicy burgers and hot dogs from Fosters Grille, Asian cuisine by A Taste of China, BBQ from Zenesis Flavor, Fun Country Kettle Corn is back, and topping it off with ice cream from Swirlies, Hershey’s, and Kona Ice. Flavor Fusion has expanded their menu now including cotton candy, cookies, hot pretzels and more. The Legendary Wild Bill’s Soda is also back this year with a special commemorative YFT Cup.
The Live Auction will offer 35 exciting items, including a tropical getaway to Turks and Caicos, an exciting Nashville excursion for Commander’s fans, golf outings, a DC Sports Fan Package, jewelry, and a NASCAR package, just to name a few.
The Live and Silent Auction will be “live” for your viewing pleasure on Wednesday, September 30, also allowing you to begin placing bids on silent auction items. The Blind Bid Board returns this year! If you’re not sure what this exciting “auction” entails, stop into the large big-top tent!
Enjoy live music from the legendary local band The Road Ducks from 2 to 5pm under the big top tent. Another local favorite, Cactus Jack, returns to the main stage in the food court. Enjoy dance performances by LineDance4You and The Bull Run Cloggers.
The Military and First Responder Appreciation area is back with a paratrooper descending at noon, landing on the midway! We will also have the Silent Drill Team, Virginia Army National Guard, Virginia State Police Command Center and ROBOTS!, Military display vehicles, and much more!
