Police Arrest Man Suspected of Abducting, Robbing, Dragging Woman from Vehicle

Accomplice remains at large

Abduction | Strong-Arm Robbery  – July 21, Loudoun County Police apprehended one of the suspects wanted in connection to an assault reported to have occurred in the 10600 block of Automotive Drive in Manassas, Prince William County on June 12. 

Bryan Steven Romero Martinez, 29, of the 14600 block of Icelandic Place in Chantilly, was taken into custody in Loudoun County.

Martinez has been charged with abduction, malicious wounding, robbery and petit larceny. His court date is pending, and information about his bond is currently unavailable.

An accomplice, Patrick Diaz Pina, remains at large. 

Previously released- Prince William County Officers responded to an assault reported at Automotive Drive in Manassas, June 12 around 8 a.m.

The investigation revealed that earlier that morning, the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was inside her apartment on Launch Circle, when an acquaintance, later identified as Bryan Romero Martinez, entered the residence without consent.

Romero Martinez pushed the victim and took her phone, refusing to return it. He then forced the victim into a vehicle driven by another acquaintance, Patrick Diaz Pina.

While driving, Romero Martinez compelled the victim to electronically transfer funds from her account.

When the vehicle stopped in the parking lot of the aforementioned location, Romero Martinez threw the victim's phone into a nearby wooded area.

The victim managed to exit the vehicle but was grabbed and struck multiple times by Romero Martinez.

As the driver, Patrick Diaz Pina, began driving, the victim was dragged while still held by Romero Martinez.

Eventually, the parties separated, and the victim sought help from nearby police at a business. Minor injuries were treated by fire and rescue personnel at the scene.

Following the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for both Bryan Romero Martinez and Patrick Diaz Pina. 

Patrick Diaz Pina remains at large.

The second suspect, Patrick Diaz Pina, 29, of the 4500 block of Samuels Pine Road in Chantilly, remains at large, and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Patrick Diaz Pina, described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6'1" tall, weighing 180 lbs., with brown hair and eyes, is wanted for abduction, robbery, and petit larceny.
