Ed has spent more than 15 years developing and supporting leaders and their organizations through collaboration, coaching, and group/team facilitations. With an innate ability to foster consensus through innovation and community partnering, he guides leaders to intentionally explore current opportunities and discover new possibilities.

With an eye toward future results, he is empathetic to the unique challenges facing leaders navigating existential decisions with paramount impact on self, others, and the organization. Ed has a unique interest and commitment for seeing growth and potential in people striving to deepen their understanding of who they are and how they want to “show-up.” He believes the coaching partnership of exploration and new and increased awareness enables clients to develop long-term practices and skills, empowering them to lead with confidence, while continuing to cultivate and strengthen talents and abilities. These shifts affect not only the individual, but also their interpersonal relationships and the entire organization structure.

Ed Johnson is credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation. He earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Master of Arts In Christian Education (MACE) degrees from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA and completed a post-graduate certificate for Clinical Pastoral Education. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA.

He is a certified Positive Intelligence® Mental Fitness Coach and a certified TetraMap® facilitator .

Ed hails from Virginia Beach, VA and currently resides with his spouse, Alecia Bryan, in Warrenton, VA and is an active father of a blended family, helping to raise five boys. When Ed and Alecia are able to find time, they enjoy traveling, discovering back roads, finding new craft breweries, exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, and getting back to the crashing waves of the ocean!
