Conservationist Groups Oppose Data Centers Near National Parks in Prince William County

The National Parks Conservation Association announces its opposition to building data centers near national park lands in Prince William County. The NPCA was joined by six other groups: Prince William Conservation Alliance, Piedmont Environmental Council, American Battlefield Trust, Manassas Battlefield Trust, Virginia Native Plant Society, and Coalition to Protect Historic Thoroughfare.

The survey, conducted by CDG in partnership with NACo, identifies the best technology practices among U.S. counties, including initiatives that streamline delivery of government services; encourage open data, collaboration, and shared services; enhance cybersecurity, and contribute to disaster response and recovery efforts.
