2024 Flagship’s Car Wash of Doom offers spooky family fun and a Wicked Wash®

Posted

Flagship Carwash invites the public to its 4th annual haunted Car Wash of Doom this Halloween season. Visitors to any four participating Northern Virginia Flagship Carwash locations will experience a “Wicked Wash,” from October 24-26 from 7 to 9 p.m. The carwash will leave their vehicle “scarily clean,” and the passengers frightfully amused.

Guests at Gainesville, Manassas, Vienna, and Ashburn Flagship locations can sit back and enjoy a spooky ride –complete with spine-tingling scares – from the comfort of their vehicles. Flagship recommends everyone lock their doors in the event menacing characters should appear out of the darkness.

Flagship recommends drivers turn on their hazard lights if that sounds too terrifying Those vehicles will receive a family-friendly experience for even the smallest witches and warlocks.

But that is just the preshow!

Travelers should prepare for the perilous passage through the “Car Wash of Doom.” Some see it as a blood bath, some a journey to the underworld, while others believe it to be a wormhole traversing space and time. Who can tell? Motorists need to experience it for themselves.

This year marks Flagship’s fourth anniversary of the Car Wash of Doom, which began at the Vienna location in 2021. That year, Vienna residents named the 26-foot jack-o-lantern perched on top of the wash’s two-story building and decided to also create a haunted carwash to provide a fun experience for their customers and residents of the area.

The experience caught on, and other locations wanted to join the fun.

“Our team gets excited to deliver a scary experience during the Car Wash of Doom each year. We love that our guests and members look forward to this event and sometimes go to all four locations to compare their scare factor!” said Jenny Rolon, director of operations at Flagship Carwash.

Flagship has since expanded the popular event to its carwashes on Lee Highway in Gainesville, Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas, Maple Avenue in Vienna (near the VRE), and even its largest facility, the 65,000 square foot climate-controlled car wash on Loudoun County Parkway in Ashburn.

Drivers do not have to fear a hefty price! The cost for an unlimited member is only $15 per vehicle.  Members can purchase tickets at any Virginia Flagship Carwash location through Oct. 26 and use the ticket at any of the four participating locations. Nonmembers can still take part in the fun. They can purchase a presale ticket for $25 through Oct. 23 at FlagshipCarwash.com or purchase a ticket at the gate for $30.

Flagship’s Wicked Wash is not only a haunting experience, but also a practical one. The “Wicked Wash,” is both an exterior car wash that will leave your car gleaming in the moonlight, and Halloween-themed entertainment for the whole family.

But the frights only appear at night. Flagship Car Wash services will operate normally during the day. The locations will close between 6 and 7 p.m. to set up for the haunted car wash.

Participating locations are as follows:

  • 20395 Broad Overlook Drive at Russell Branch Parkway in Ashburn
  • 14570 Lee Highway (Rt 29 W) at Somerset Crossing in Gainesville
  • 11790 Sudley Manor Drive, Manassas, near Ashton Avenue
  • 540 Maple Avenue W, at Nutley Street SW
